About the House
How many guests can stay overnight?+
Up to six guests. There are two double bedrooms and one room with two single beds, making four beds in total.
How are the bedrooms arranged?+
On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and access to the pool area. Upstairs there is another double bedroom with access to the terrace and a twin bedroom.
How many bathrooms are there?+
Two full bathrooms plus a separate guest toilet. Downstairs a shower room, upstairs a bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower.
What facilities are available?+
Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, satellite TV, a private parking space and an outdoor area with barbecue. Bed linen and towels are also provided.
Which bedrooms have outdoor access?+
The double bedroom on the ground floor opens onto the pool area, the upstairs double bedroom has access to the upper terrace. The twin bedroom has no direct outdoor access.

Pool and Outdoor Area
Is the pool private?+
Yes. The freshwater pool measures 8 × 4 metres and is for the exclusive use of the villa's guests.
Is the pool heated?+
No. From around May to October the water is pleasantly warm, in the winter months it is too cold for swimming.
Is the pool secured?+
The pool is not fenced or covered. Children should always be supervised when in the outdoor area.
Is there a barbecue?+
Yes, the barbecue is part of the house and you may use it.

Location and Arrival
How far is the beach?+
Praia da Ingrina is 1.6 kilometres away, about 18 minutes on foot. Other coves of the Costa Vicentina can be reached within a few minutes by car.
How long is the drive from Faro?+
By car about 1 hour 20 minutes, depending on traffic, via the A22 to Lagos and then along the N125.
Do we need to hire a car?+
Not strictly necessary for the beach, but strongly recommended for everything else. Public transport is limited in the west Algarve.
Where can I shop?+
You will find a supermarket, pharmacy and petrol station in Vila do Bispo, about six kilometres away. There is a larger selection in Lagos.

How do I book?+
Use the calendar on this website. Select your desired dates and send a non-binding enquiry. We will check and confirm personally.
Is the enquiry binding?+
No. The stay is only binding once we have confirmed it. Until then, the dates are reserved for you only.
Can I also book through a portal?+
Yes. Villa Sonata is listed on Booking.com, Airbnb, Bed & Breakfast and Agoda. The availability calendar is the same.
How does payment work?+
We will arrange this personally upon confirmation. No payment data is collected through this website.
Which languages do the hosts speak?+
German, English, Russian and Lithuanian. The website is also available in French, Spanish and Italian.
Is the accommodation registered?+
Yes. Villa Sonata is registered as Alojamento Local under the number 139023/AL.
